This session was delivered to STEM Ambassadors in November 2020, as part of STEM Learning’s series of webinars to showcase how the STEM Ambassador programme can support schools. It was presented by Dominic Judge and Lynn King from Education and Employers - the charity who deliver Inspiring Governance in partnership with the National Governance Association.

The session explored the strategic role of a school/academy governor and covered:

  • What is Inspiring Governance and what free CPD support is available?
  • How being a governor can support career progression and your STEM Ambassador role?
  • Provided insights from those who are currently governors/ trustees
