In this session, Year 2 pupils are introduced to the concept that a photograph can be taken in either landscape or portrait format. Pupils are encouraged to explore taking photographs in both portrait and landscape formats and explore the reasons why a photographer may favour one over the other. These resources support pupils to explain the process of taking a good photograph and assessment opportunities are provided throughout the lesson plan. This session is second in a six session teaching unit provided by the National Centre for Computing Education.
