Year 6 - stage 9

This resource supports the design technology curriculum by allowing Year 6 pupils to produce a balanced meal, prepare vegetables safely and present food in an appealing way. In this session pupils will plan and follow their chosen adapted recipe to make the balanced dish from their menu that they previously budgeted for. The resources provide a good opportunity for pupils to revise and apply food preparation techniques taught in previous years and to analyse dishes produced by professional chefs and recreate them for themselves. This session is the ninth in a ten session long STEM project provided by NFU Education.
