Year 3 Project Outline- Farming STEMterprise
This resource provides a brief overview of a STEM project which supports Year 3 pupils working in groups to set up a farm shop business, design, make and market and new lunchtime food product. This project provides a range of opportunities to enhance Year 3 National Curriculum for:
- Science; focusing on plants and animals, including humans
- Maths; looking specifically at measuring (length and weight), estimating, money and basic fractions
- Design technology; allowing children the opportunity to design and make packaging.
This resource is produced by the NFU (National Farming Union).
