Year 3 - Stage 2
This resource provides a lesson plan and supporting PowerPoint to help Year 3 pupils to grow herbs from seeds and write a descriptive poem. Children will revise their learning on what plants need to grow and plant their own herb seeds. This session gives children the opportunity to take responsibility for their own plants and a cross-curricular writing opportunity is also presented to inspire children to write shape poetry from the video clips provided. This session is the second in a ten session STEM project provided by NFU Education.
