Investigating careers in Dyson
In this resource careers in Dyson are explored, including in particular the engineering roles that are available. Students are able to see the wide number of roles that Dyson needs to function as a company, but how the engineering roles are critical and numerous within the organisation. Several case studies of engineers from Dyson are used. Students investigate a product disassembly of a Dyson cleaner, that is provided by the James Dyson foundation, to help them understand the complexity of the products and how they have been reduced using familiar techniques such as injection moulding. Students continue to produce a fact file that demonstrates their knowledge of engineering companies.
This resource has not been produced by Dyson or the Dyson foundation.
