Investigating careers in Apple

In this resource students investigate a range of careers available at Apple, including in particular the engineering roles. Students are able to see the wide number of roles that Apple needs to function as a company, but how the Engineering roles are critical and numerous within the organisation. Several case studies of Engineers from Apple are used. Students then take on the role of a development engineer to compare the features of phones produced by Apple and by other manufacturers, they then have to suggest improvements Apple could make to their iPhones based on the research task. Students continue to produce a fact file that demonstrates their knowledge of engineering companies.
