Do Try This at Home: the Light Collection *suitable for home teaching*

This series of Marvin and Milo cards have been pulled together for the International Year of Light 2015. They include eight simple experiments that can be performed at home that link in to the theme of light, using: - A torch and a bottle to show total internal reflection - A glass of water to make a lens - Milk and water to show the scattering of light - Making a light bulb light up with a balloon (static electricity) - Tonic water to show fluorescence - Mirrors and binocular vision - Making a rainbow with a hosepipe - Refraction of light using vegetable oil
