This interactive file deals with various angles and lengths within tetrahedrons.
The first sheet shows the diagram of a regular tetrahedron. Various sides and angles need to be calculated using Pythagoras Theorem and trigonometry. The sides are to be given in surd form where necessary. The next sheet enables the student to calculate the radius of the sphere containing a regular tetrahedron.
The third and final sheet involves finding angles and lengths in a particular tetrahedron where the base is an isosceles triangle. Lengths can be revealed to enable other lengths and angles to be calculated and checked.
This program was designed by be viewed on a screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768. Users may have to adjust the resolution of their screen for the pages to display as was originally intended. The program uses macros which need to be enabled on users’ machine.
