Computing Concept Cards
Used to support teaching of computing in primary schools, these information sheets offer primary teachers an explanation of the six key concepts of computational thinking as defined by CAS (Computing at School).
The resource, created by the Barefoot Computing project, would prove useful to teachers new to computing as well as those searching for ways to expand and enrich the computing curriculum. There are many suggested learning activities that apply and reinforce the concepts of logic, algorithms, decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and evaluation.
Explicit cross-curricular links are made from foundation stage (EYFS) through Key Stage One and Key Stage Two.
