Seasonal Changes
This resource provides a selection of lesson plans, worksheets and teachers notes relating to plants at Year One. They include activities for finding out facts about the Sun, observing its apparent movement across the sky and investigating how shadows change during the day.
Ideas are also provided for discussing the different seasons, looking at how day length varies across the year and how the weather may change with each season.
Provided by Hamilton Trust, these sessions have been written in line with the new national curriculum (published in 2013).
The Hamilton website also hosts a wealth of other free resources.
