Decimals

Connect 4: this activity requires students to choose a question and use their skill of adding and subtracting decimals to answer the question. Player one answers their question then finds, and shades in with one colour, the answer on the answer grid. Player two then takes their turn, shading their answer using a different colour. The winner is the first player to get four shaded answers in a row. Questions include addition and subtraction of numbers containing one or two decimal places.

Whodunnit: in this activity, students have to use their skill at multiplying and dividing decimals in order to check whether the correct answers have been given. By checking the given answers and spotting errors, students identify who committed the crime, who the victim was and who were the other two suspects, where the crime was committed and when.
