The Young Scientist Investigates topic book on Birds, first published in 1981, gives information, illustrated with full-colour photographs, about the features and behaviour of birds. It is intended for children aged 8-11 to read and then to answer question and carry out investigations involving observing feathers and recording bird behaviour.
