The Great E-scape

This resource contains a video interview with Professor Richard Kimbell, of the Technology Education Unit (TERU) at Goldsmith College, describing the reasons for and the process of creating the E-scape electronic assessment system. The aim was to transform the way teachers create, manage and assess learning.

The video is accompanied by a summary of the project, written by Paul Clewes, and a web-brochure explaining what e-portfolios are and how the system works.

There is also an account, written by Dave White, detailing how the system was implemented in Clevedon School, North Somerset school and the successes of the project.
