Electronic Calculators
These resources, from Nuffield Foundation, were designed as a supplement to the Nuffield Maths 5-11 project, especially those activities which could be supported and reinforced by using a calculator.
Most of the material in this book could be used by anyone interested in calculator work with students, although it was intended primarily for children from the age of nine to thirteen years, it could well be used by other age groups.
Where appropriate, references are given to chapters in Nuffield Maths Teachers' Handbooks and the calculator games contained in this book. The problems that arose, when different types of calculator were used, was avoided by instructing students to press the = key after every binary operation.
