Skill 4.6 Interpreting Graphs
Produced by Gatsby Science Enhancement Programme, this activity helps student to formulate questions relating to graphs and so gain a deeper understanding of the data represented.
This activity asks students to look at a graph and interpret the information it contains. They are then asked to devise questions which can be answered using information in the graph. The questions are then attempted by other students in the class. This approach helps to generate more active learning, where the students analyse the data closely.
