CREST Awards Through Work Experience
By the British Science Association, the CREST awards help students to tackle science with an investigative approach. This case study describes how BP used CREST awards to enhance their provision of work experience.
Students at BP worked on a research project for their work experience week. This involved around 30 hours of work. At the end of their placement, students presented their research findings and what they had learned from the experience. This model has had a positive impact on both the students and BP employees involved in the work experience programme.
