Future in Composite Technologies

Produced by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), this case study looks at the themes of employer engagement and knowledge and technology transfer. The study illustrates the power of employer engagement to deliver new curriculum modules that meet the direct needs of employers. The employment of concurrent learning and development is exemplified in this case study as a rapid and responsive time-to-market model that enabled Falmouth Marine School to develop a higher education module in composite materials.
