Activity Case Studies 18 and 19: Ross Wattie and Felix Schubert
This STEMNET activity case study describes how STEM Ambassador Felix Schubert shadowed another engineer, Ross Wattie, to learn the skills needed to present sessions for groups of students.
Felix was asked to do four sessions of a science workshop for 120 primary school children but felt apprehensive about working with young students. Working with Ross helped him to develop the skills he needed to manage large groups of students, command attention and ask questions that sparked discussion.
"The kids were very excited, it was really motivating and I left the session feeling really good."
