Workshop 4: Design Specification - Key Stage Three Resources

These resources, from the James Dyson Foundation, include lesson plans, activities and a presentation to support Key Stage Three design and technology and engineering courses. Through these resources, students learn about design specification, how they are used in the design process and how to develop one. They learn to analyse products according to design criteria and practise interpreting and critically analysing the sources used.

The Key Stage Three resources include:
*A design specification planning document for teachers
*A PowerPoint presentation which introduces the subject
*Game of dominoes activity cards

The resources are designed to be used alongside the Dyson Foundation Education Box, which is offered on a free loan basis to schools by the Foundation.
