This practical resource from BP Educational Service provides an opportunity for children at Key Stage Two to learn about science through a design and technology project. Students have to design a tower, aiming to make the tallest tower they can from a sheet of A4 paper. They are given an introductory slideshow to start the project and planning and evaluation sheets to guide their work. Worksheets which consider the impact of shape, stability and material used on tower design and teachers' notes on running the activity are also included.
