Practice Book 4a

These materials, produced by the Centre for Innovation in Mathematics Teaching (CIMT) for the primary extension of the Mathematics Enhancement Programme, include the pages from Practice Book 4a with detailed lesson plans and all necessary resources to accompany them.

Students increase their mathematical vocabulary, use their knowledge to perform prime factor decomposition and extend number calculations up to 10,000. They also encounter the geometry of angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, as well as learning to construct shapes and solve geometric problems.

There are daily lesson plans covering weeks one to 16 and each plan is complete with teacher and student activities, together with key questions and references to the pages in the practice book.
