Circular motion: two balls in circular track (air resistance)

This video from the International Space Station (ISS), shows two balls moving on a circular track, at first the video is sped up but then plays in real time.  The small ball catches up on the large ball because of the larger air resistance on the large ball.  The large ball eventually leaves the track because of pumped air currents on the ISS.
