Joe - mechanical/ vibration technician
Joe studied engineering at college and started working as a mechanic for a manufacturer of batteries for satellites and spacecraft. An opening at the Science and Technology Facility Council's RAL Space allowed him to harvest his interest in space and his role as mechanical technician allows him to perform important vibration testing to ensure instruments used for research in space will reach their desination.
