I would like to share with you an exciting outreach programme that we here at BuroHappold Engineering have developed. BuroHappold is a multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm, involved in almost all aspects of designing the built environment. As a company we coordinate numerous outreach opportunities, one of which is the Skype Call an Engineer initiative.

Skype Call an Engineer gives students an opportunity to ask a working engineer about anything from their working day to our amazing worldwide projects and everything in between. This initiative has been run successfully with 5 different schools over a period of two years and we are looking for more schools to take part.

What is needed to get involved?
• Your school must be video conferencing capable with facilities for a Skype call.
• 15 minutes allocated time. This can be slotted into any of your classes, is resource light and is designed to fit easily into your busy term schedule.

Attached is our Skype Call an Engineer flyer with the relevant information, feel free to distribute it further.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or if you have any questions.
