British Science Week - 10th to 19th March 2023

British Science Week, organised by the British Science Association, is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. 

The theme for this year's activities is 'connections'.  There are 4 activity packs which contain age appropriate activities to run during the course of the week which will promote learning and discovery, and breakdown the stereotypes surrounding science, technology engineering and maths.

The activity packs cover the following groups:

• Early years (under the age of 5)
• Primary (ages 5 to 11)
• Secondary (ages 11 to 14)
• Community groups (young people or adults)

In addition, to the activity packs from the British Science Association, there are collections of resources from other organisations which can provide ideas and inspiration for activities for the week linked to the theme of 'connections.'

British Science Week is a nationwide event and there are lots of events and activities taking place around the UK, including a poster competition.  More details can be found on the British Science Week website.
