Six for Six Module 1 - Understanding the human body
These Six for Six activities enhance key stage two pupils understanding of the human body through real-world examples of Siemens technology, engineering or manufacturing principles. The unit of work is split into 6 sessions and all sessions give pupils the opportunity to extend their learning beyond the operating of the human body to better understand the impact of technology on their day to day lives. This collection provides an overview for the sessions and other required resources including:
- Comprehensive teacher notes - Introducing and providing an overview of key learning objectives for the resources and/or activity suggestions

- interactive online learning tool
- activity suggestions and worksheets
This unit of work supports areas of the key stage two science curriculum and is gathered together here for sake of convenience but there is no expectation or suggestion that they be used consecutively. Rather the idea is that as and when the topics arise in schemes of work that the resources are accessed and deployed.
