Creating Media - Digital Photography

In this unit, Year 2 pupils will learn to recognise that different devices can be used to capture photographs and they will gain experience capturing, editing and improving photographs. Towards the end of the unit, pupils will use their knowledge to recognise that images they see may not be real. This unit provided by the National Centre for Computing Education covers key areas of the Key Stage 1 computing curriculum;

  • To use technology purposefully to create, organise, store, manipulate and retrieve digital content,
  • Recognise common uses of information technology beyond school,
  • Use technology safely and respectfully.
