Contemporary School Mathematics
Contemporary School Mathematics, published by Edward Arnold, was written by staff at St. Dunstan’s College to fulfill the requirements of the new school syllabus in 1964. They were written to supplement, rather than to replace, existing texts and they demonstrated how the existing syllabus could be enlivened with what were considered contemporary ideas at the time. The full scheme comprises:
- The course books
- The booklets: first series, for students aged 11-13
- The booklets: second series, for students aged 14-16
- Exercises
Details of the St. Dunstan's syllabus are found on the inside covers of the books, including a breakdown of the topics covered by each book and a flow diagram to show how the topics linked together.
