Working in partnership with Research Councils UK, the National STEM Learning Centre and Network has created Bringing Cutting Edge Research into the Classroom, an innovative programme that will engage teachers and students alike.
The Bringing Cutting Edge Research programme has been created with leading researchers to support the teaching of STEM subjects at GCSE and A level. The programme is designed to deliver the latest knowledge, new contexts and practical activities to support teachers in delivering the curriculum in an accessible, enjoyable and stimulating way for their students.
The programme is delivered at venues across the UK through the National STEM Learning Centre and Network. In each of the subjects’ researchers and scientists will explain the recent advances in the field and provide an insight into their own current research, linking cutting edge science with today’s classroom.
Thanks to funding from the Research Councils UK, all CPD which is part of the Bringing Cutting Edge Science into the Classroom programme qualifies for a bursary.
