Maths plus from heinemann: key stage 2 assessment file

This file provides photocopiable activities which provide evidence of each child's level of attainment at Key Stage 2.

For each of Levels 2-6 there is a short test of each attainment target which enables the teacher to make an informed opinion about pupils' level of attainment. A mark scheme for each test provides clear criteria for this.

The emphasis throughout is on ease of implementation and a high level of teacher support. The file also provides support for assessing Ma1. It offers 17 open-ended investigations, together with clear "performance indicators" to help establish easily the level at which each child is working.
