'Coasts of the British Isles' explores the geography and the geology of the British Isles by it's coastlines. Each chapter looks at a particular type of coastline and examines the impact that the physical make-up of the landscape has had on the economic and social development. The text is written in a lively and stimulating way and is punctuated by superb colour photographs and maps as well as Fact Files which highlight pertinent points. Written to support the National Curriculum at Key Stage 2 and 3.
