This pack includes ratio strips which can provide a visual representation.This could be used in lesson 1.
Ratio Inquiry
This disquisition and exploration introduces pupils to multiplicative reasoning.
The open nature of the task allows for progression through Bloom's Taxonomy. Begin with one example on the board to help pupils understand the nature of the task, before moving onto to 2 questions for pupils to independantly complete. Finally, there is the option for pupils to create thier own question in this style, to test their comprehension.

The overhead slides (page 2) can be used as whiteboard activities for a starter/plenary.
