A global coding challenge, coming soon!

Technology is everywhere and is changing every industry on the planet.

To help encourage more young people into a technology-related career, CSC Charitable Foundation is launching a new global coding challenge – CSC Codes.

This fun and engaging competition uses Scratch to inspire a passion for programming and sciences in today’s youth.

Aimed at 10-14 year olds, pupils can work in teams of three and will have six weeks to develop and submit an online project.

Entries will be assessed by a panel of judges for creativity, originality, technical merit and accuracy and good programming practices.

There are a number of locations around the world that are currently planning on hosting CSC events in their cities, including London and Chorley.

The winners of each of these local events will advance to the global championship. Winning pupils will be invited to select the prizes of their choice from a range of exciting options.

On 9 January 2017, the CSC Charitable Foundation will release the CSC Codes challenge and more details about the competition.
