We're excited to launch our new webinar series STEM Learning Bites - 1 hour remote sessions giving STEM educators the unmissable chance to benefit from an expert's view on research, topical issues and new ideas, held exclusively on STEM Community.
The very first 'Bites' - on Thursday 14 October at 4pm - is aimed at ITTs & Early Careers Teachers and their mentors, and features Pat Moore, course leader for PGCE Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University. Drawing upon her wealth of experience both in schools and in teaching training, Pat will give ITTs and Early Careers teachers her expert professional advice, guidance and support on how they can grow and thrive in their new roles.
Pat will also discuss what they should expect from their school in terms of support, explore the emotions they'll experience during their first few months and how to deal with them - helping to give them a flying start in their new career.
After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to join in a discussion with Pat and other attendees to share ideas and support each other. Although this session will be mainly focused on secondary science, everyone is welcome to join in.
