Kings College London to launch an MA in STEM Education

King’s College London (KCL) is launching a new MA in STEM Education, set to commence in September 2019.

The course will be taught by staff from KCL’s Centre for Research in Education in STEM. It will focus on practical STEM knowledge, STEM policy and principles, as well as emerging fields such as environmental education.

The King’s team are particularly keen to support teachers who are in STEM cold spots outside London. To ensure accessibility to the programme, the majority of the sessions will be run on a Saturday or online.

They are also offering 15 STEM Education Teacher Scholarships, covering up to 70% of programme fees for teachers working in state-funded schools in England.

  • closing deadline for scholarship applications: 2 June 2019
  • closing deadline for MA in STEM programme applications: 30 August 2019
