Investigating the importance of educational research

There is no doubt about it, the demand for educational research is growing. Unfortunately, this revolution is coming at a time when the capacity for research appears to be shrinking.

The British Academy and the Royal Society are leading on a project which aims to investigate the opportunities and challenges for teachers, researchers and policy-makers.

This project will investigate how high quality research has the potential to transform education in the UK.

Guided by a working group, the British Academy and Royal Society have launched a Call for views and are currently welcoming evidence from anyone who works with, who manages or who is a user of educational research.

If you would like to share your views about the importance of educational research, download the Call for views document.

All completed responses should be submitted to educationalresearch@royalsociety.org by Friday 28 October 2016.
