Get involved in The Bright Ideas Challenge

Shell are inviting students from across Great Britain to participate in The Bright Ideas Challenge. As part of their ongoing support of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, Shell have launched a brand new challenge for 11-14 year old students to get involved in.

This cross-curricular schools competition is based around the energy challenges faced by future cities. What will cities look like in 2050? How will they be powered to be vibrant, healthy and clean places to live? These are just some of the questions this challenge will focus on.

There is no limit to the number of teams a school can enter, and with the opportunity to win up to £5,000 for your school, there is every reason for schools to think big!

Shell can provide you with everything you need to run the Challenge, from student workbooks and videos to hands-on activities and teaching notes.

The deadline is 17:00 on Friday 29 April 2016.
