Come and visit our resource centre

Located at the heart of the National STEM Learning Centre in York, our resource centre houses the UK's largest collection of physical resources to support the teaching of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

With thousands of resources to browse through, from books and gadgets to DVDs and a one-of-a-kind archive collection, the resource centre holds plenty of inspiration for your lessons.

We understand that it would be impossible to look through all of our resources while visiting the Centre. To help make your visit as simple as possible, thousands of our physical resources are now listed in our online resource collection, allowing you to browse through the resources before you visit.

The resource centre is open on Monday to Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm and anyone with an interest in early years, primary, secondary and post-16 STEM-related resources is welcome to browse through the resources at their pleasure.

The resource collection is reference only, but there are always free resources for visitors to take away with them, ranging from posters to free resource kits.
