BBC micro:bit Partnership shortlisted for two Bett Awards

The BBC micro:bit Partnership has recently been shortlisted for two Bett Awards: The ICT Innovator of the Year and Free Digital Content/Open Educational Resources.

Bett Awards are a celebration of the inspiring creativity and innovation that can be found throughout technology for education. This year’s winners will be announced at a prestigious evening ceremony on 25 January 2017.

BBC Learning is thrilled to have been shortlisted for two awards and to be recognised for all the work they have put into making the BBC micro:bit the success it is has become.

BBC Learning has worked with, and continues to work with, a number of different companies as part of the BBC micro:bit Partnership, including the National STEM Learning Network, the Wellcome Trust, Microsoft and Kitronik.

This two minute video outlines some of the benefits the BBC micro:bit has had on young people around the UK.
