Technicians who teach

Have you ever thought about gaining professional recognition for the support you give to higher education students?

The Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowships are designed to enable you to gain recognition for the work you are already doing, whatever discipline - from arts to sciences. The Fellowships cover a wide range of experiences too. It may be that you are involved in working directly with students to support their learning in labs or studios. What do you do to help their learning? Maybe you are involved in teaching groups of students, or creating environments in which students work - be it a studio, a lab or simulation suite.

So what does an HEA Fellowship entail? Fellowship applications are a reflective account of your practice. You need to explain what you do, why you do it and what underpins your practice. If you would like to know more, join us on 26 June in York to find out more, or look on the Higher Education Academy website.
