HEaTED are delighted to announce that Glasgow School of Art (GSA) have become members of our network, joining a prestigious list of institutions spanning the UK.

Founded in 1845, the GSA is internationally recognised as one of Europe's leading university-level institutions for the visual creative disciplines.  Focusing on a studio-based approach to research and teaching,  GSA brings disciplines together to explore problems in new ways to find new innovative solutions.

John Ayers, Head of Technical Support at Glasgow School of Art said:

"We’ve joined HEATED to provide a network for our technical staff to make connections with similar staff across a wide range of institutions. The NNAT networking day I attended in Leeds was particularly constructive in situating our institution’s technical provision in the wider sector. I am looking for more opportunities such as this to let our staff share good practice, discuss common issues and feel part of a wider educational community. "

Our community of members of HEaTED gain access to a range of member benefits, including:

  • discounts on CPD activities, including our bespoke activities
  • exclusive online courses
  • discounts on our Competency Assessment Toolkit for Technical Staff (CATTS) workforce development resource
  • free access to a range of resources on soft skills and professional development
  • a range of resources designed to enhance career progression

If you are interested in becoming a member, we have further information about the benefits of joining our growing community.
