ESERO-UK celebrates 10 years

ESERO-UK's 10th anniversary event was held at the UK Space Conference in Newport on 24-26 September 2019.

To celebrate our successes, we will be joined by Yvonne Baker, STEM Learning Chief Executive, representatives from the European Space Agency and the UK Space Agency and Astronaut Tim Peake.

At the event we’ll hear why ESERO is so important to educators, to STEM Learning and for the space sector. We will also reflect on the last 10 years of ESERO and outline our future plans.

Tim Peake  is to speak about the important work ESERO did while he was aboard the  ISS  and our work to increase interest and knowledge about space and STEM in schools. His plans for his new role in education will also be revealed.

As part of our exhibition, teachers from schools around the country who have completed work on their Space Education Quality Mark and the winning CanSat  team are showcasing their work, and the Space Ambassadors will be sharing the work that they do with schools too.
