WonderDome presenter- led astronomy shows
WonderDome Mobile Planetarium delivers mobile space shows to hundreds of schools, scouts organisations, museums, private parties as well as local organisations. We offer our service across South Yorkshire, Leicestershire Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, Birmingham, North Yorkshire and Lancashire.
WonderDome team included astronomy specialists and teachers who create and deliver interactive space shows in our inflatable space domes. Because of our unique expertise our shows build with age and curriculum relevance in mind to provide fun and interactive astronomy related sessions. Our educational space science sessions meet the National curriculum: science programmes of study requirements. With the advanced presentation technology and embedded 360-degree full dome film to bring the wow factor experience.
Wonderdome Mobile Planetarium comes fully insured, all our presenters have DBS checks and we can also provide you with risk assessment and additional activities packages. Grants for school
The Royal Institution runs two enrichment and enhancement grant schemes. Grants of up to £500 are available to UK-registered state schools to host a STEM activity selected from the STEM Directory.
There are a number of other organisations that offer grants to schools.
