STEM Curriculum Enrichment Activities
Dr. Martin delivers a variety of STEM-themed curriculum enrichment activities that are hands-on, engaging and fun. They include:
· The Giant Tetrahedron
A highly motivational cross curricular activity that combines making skills, practical maths and problem solving during construction of an inspiring 4m tall giant tetrahedron.
· STEM Challenges
Competitive team challenges set within a real world scenario which involve teamwork, communication, problem solving, design and construction and time management skills.
Fun and inspirational maths and problem solving activity sessions.
· Carbon Workshops
A hands-on exploration of the nanoscale world via an insightful introduction to the properties and applications of different forms of pure carbon including buckyballs and nanotubes.
· KS2 STEM Day
All the educational and fun elements of Dr. Martin’s activities condensed into shorter sessions enabling all of KS2 to be involved.
· After School STEM Club Activity Sessions
A course of six fun STEM activity sessions of 1 hour duration tailored for after school delivery to small groups of KS2 pupils.
Dr. Martin places a lot of emphasis on tailoring delivery to accommodate the number of pupils taking part, the school timetable and the amount of space available to work in.

Grants for school
The Royal Institution runs two enrichment and enhancement grant schemes. Grants of up to £500 are available to UK-registered state schools to host a STEM activity selected from the STEM Directory.
There are a number of other organisations that offer grants to schools.
