Embedding Pedagogy in Practical Science
Produced by LSIS, this report and associated materials describe a research programme aimed at supporting and disseminating effective practical work in further education science classrooms. This report summarises the key findings from action research projects carried out in fourteen further education colleges from April to July 2009.
The projects were wide-ranging and included topics such as:
* promoting project work
* GCSE to AS level progression
* use of video to analyse motion
* using ict in practical work
* modelling.
Descriptions and reports of the individual projects are included in the materials.
