Summary

Are you new to teaching A level chemistry? Even for teachers with a chemistry background, we know it can be daunting to deliver for the first time. 

This course will support you with effective teaching and learning at the year 13 part of A level in chemistry. Common student misconceptions, the key substantive knowledge and practical techniques will be investigated, with lots of hands-on practice to hone your approach to student learning. If you're new to teaching A level and are starting with, or moving on to,  year 13, you'll learn how to lead and support outstanding practical chemistry, linking it to effective pedagogy within the subject.
