IOSH working safely course HC443


Summary

This is a one day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility. The course provides grounding in the essentials of health and safety so that you gain an understanding of why you must work safely.

The course consists of five modules:

  • introducing working safely
  • defining hazard and risk
  • identifying common hazards
  • improving safety performance
  • protecting our environment

This course is recommended for anyone looking for a basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments can choose to receive either an IOSH Working Safely certificate or an IOSH Passport.

Outcomes

This course is designed to give you an understanding of what you need to know to help you handle health and safety in your day to day working environment. The course covers all the main health and safety issues, and also includes a session on the environment.
