Summary

The Cornwall Computing Catch-Up
An open and free after-school network session - to bring anyone involved in teaching Computing (at primary level) up-to-speed with the latest happenings in this ever changing curriculum area. Giles Hill and Jacob Woolcock will present at a quick-fire pace; bringing together news, training, opportunities for your school, and hands-on insight into making Computing work at a practical level in the classroom. This half hour session will be supplemented with Q+A, giving staff across Cornwall a sounding board for ideas, potential solutions to problems, and a route to further forum discussion and keeping in touch.

Outcomes

A Teach Computing information event to support the development of the Computing curriculum for individuals such as:

  • subject leaders, coordinators
  • a team/whole department
  • a network of schools/groups
  • multi-academy trusts
  • initial teacher education
