Summary

Faculty Heads for Science and Maths in the same school will partner up and come to SSERC together for a two-day professional learning course (with other events also supporting) Working together, they will develop a shared and collaborative approach to how numeracy is taught across STEM subjects. Sometimes, they will find a consistent and uniform way to teach a specific area, and other times, they will simply agree that there are different approaches but that there is a mutual understanding and appreciation to be outlined. Above all else, we will unify our aims to support better learner outcomes in STEM subjects and increase collaboration and multidisciplinary approaches.

Who is it for?

Faculty Heads in Science and Maths from the same school will work with SSERC on a professional learning course, developing a collaborative approach to how numeracy is taught across STEM. This course is most suited to Faculty Heads (or Principal Teachers/Subject Leaders) in Maths and Science.

How will you learn?

A mixture of face to face, online learning.  Plus some self study work is required.

25 hours.
